ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024: A Fresh Wave of Tickets Hits the Market, Including Coveted Semi-Finals
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that a new batch of tickets for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be available starting Tuesday, 19 March. This includes tickets for popular matches that were previously sold out, like the semi-finals, as well as special hospitality packages.
The T20 World Cup will be held in the West Indies and the United States, featuring 20 teams and 55 matches at nine venues. Previously, tickets were available for 37 matches. With this new release, fans can now buy tickets for 51 out of the 55 matches, including the semi-finals in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
Ticket sales will start at 10 am AST (2:00 pm GMT) on the official website, tickets.t20worldcup.com. To make the matches affordable, ticket prices begin at just $6 for some games in the Caribbean. For fans in the USA, tickets start at $35.
More matches are now available for ticket sales across seven venues, including exciting games like Pakistan vs. Ireland at Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, and India vs. Ireland at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. This expansion shows the ICC’s dedication to making the tournament accessible to more people, following the huge demand seen during the initial ticket release, which had over 3 million applications.
Chris Tetley, the ICC Head of Events, is happy about the huge interest in the tournament.
