Broadcasting Rights of IPL 2023
In June 2022, the BCCI leased the television rights for the 2023 to 2027 editions for 48,390 crores ($6.1 billion), making the event the world’s second richest and most lucrative after the NFL. When Will IPL 2023 Start?
The BCCI has released the IPL 2023 schedule on 17 February 2023, which will have a total of 10 teams playing a total of 74 matches at 12 venues. A total of 70 league matches and 4 playoff matches will be played in these 74 matches. All these matches will be played at a total of 12 venues in India, including Ahmedabad, Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati, Dharamshala. In this, a team will play a total of 14 matches, in which 7 matches will be played in the home stadium and 7 matches will be played in the stadium of the other team. This means that a team will play two matches against the other team, in which one match will be played at its home stadium and one match will be played at the home stadium of the other team.
According to the IPL schedule, the first match of IPL 2023 will be played on 31 March 2023 between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titan at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad and its last league match will be played on 21 May 2023 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru to be played. After this, a total of 4 playoff matches will be played, in which the final match of IPL 2023 will be played on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
When will the Women’s IPL start from 2023- Apart from the same IPL, BCCI has started the Women’s Premier League, in which 5 women’s teams will play. For this, the BCCI has announced a confirmed date, according to which the Women’s Premier League will start from March 4 and its final match will be played on March 26. A total of 22 matches will be played in this.

IPL 2023 auction was held in Kochi on Friday, 22nd December 2022, in which all 10 teams of IPL 2023 participated and now after that all 10 teams bought a total of 80 players. A total of 80 players were sold for Rs 1,67,00,00,000 in the 2023 IPL auction. This time the demand for all-rounder players was the highest in the IPL auction, after which most of the all-rounder players were bought. The most expensive players of 2023 also include the name of an all-rounder and this player has also become the most expensive player in the history of IPL.

IPL Teams in 2023
All of the squads competing in the upcoming IPL 2023 are divided into two groups, A and B, and each club will play 14 group matches. Each team will play one match against a team from the same group and two matches against a team from the other group. The following teams are taking part:
Chennai Super Kings

Mumbai Indians

Punjab Kings

RCB has not been able to win the IPL championship once since the league’s establishment, and they are still looking for their first IPL victory.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
Sunrisers Hyderabad will compete in the IPL 2023 with Brian Lara serving as their head coach. Simon Helmot will serve as an assistant coach and be in charge of teaching spin bowling. By winning three of its 14 games during the IPL 2022, the club moved up to the eighth spot in the standings.
